I have been a participant in all football events with the KSUAB since 1974 (KSUAB was founded in 1973 to my best recollection). I missed 1993 due to being out of the country, one year there was no alumni band event, and I missed 2005 due mostly to health reasons. Since heart surgery 1/10/03, I have used my trumpet as a physical therapy and have regained most of my "prime time" playing skills and even exceeded some. I'm back to performing solos! My primary objective with the KSUAB is to relive a day EACH year as a pretend student and take in the sights, smells, and sounds of KSU at least once each year!
