KSU Alumni Band tries to get together for at least one home football
game of each odd-numbered season. This is known as Alumni Band Day. The plan is
to meet before the game, practice a little, and have a short meeting.
After practice we eat a meal, play for tailgate parties, and head
on in to the game. During the basketball season, KSUAB is invited
to participate at a selected basketball game. We usually meet at
Bramlage and get a chance to talk to each other a little. Then we
warm up, play some pregame music, and Pep ourselves out during the
game. After the game we try to go eat somewhere that we can sit
and have a semi-formal meeting. Other events, such as the Wichita
Riverfest Parade, are scheduled throughout the year as the need
arises.
